Lower-Extremity Functional Tests: Chair-to-Stand Tests

These assessments evaluate an individual's ability to lift their own body weight against gravity and are very important to assess an individual's independence.

There are four main chair stand tests:

  2. STS10 (The time it takes to stand up and sit down 10 times).

  3. 30 s AMRAP: The number of sit-to-stand repetitions completed in 30 seconds.

  4. 60 s AMRAP: The number of sit-to-stand repetitions completed in 60seconds.
